Hands-On Hernia Workshop 5 - 6 May 2025

The Malaysia Hernia Society, in collaboration with Hospital Sultan Ismail and Medtronic, will host a two-day Laparoscopic Hernia Workshop aimed at enhancing practical surgical skills. Day 1 will feature lectures on MHS, inguinal hernia anatomy, and laparoscopic repair techniques (TAPP and TEP). Day 2 focuses on hands-on practice, with a full day of workshops involving six cases and two operating theatres running concurrently, covering TEP and TAPP. 

This initiative aims to benefit junior surgeons and scrub nurses by providing them with practical, skill-enhancing training. It reflects MHS's commitment to advancing surgical education through strategic collaborations with hospitals and industry partners.
