The Malaysia Hernia Society, in collaboration with Hospital Sultanah Maliha and Medtronic, will host a two-day Laparoscopic Hernia Workshop aimed at enhancing practical surgical skills. Day 1 will feature lectures on MHS, inguinal hernia anatomy, and laparoscopic repair techniques (TAPP ). Day 2 focuses on hands-on practice, with a full day of workshops involving six cases and two operating theatres running concurrently, covering TAPP.
This initiative aims to benefit junior surgeons and scrub nurses by providing them with practical, skill-enhancing training. It reflects MHS's commitment to advancing surgical education through strategic collaborations with hospitals and industry partners.
