Mode of Presentation & Presentation Guidelines:
Abstract submitters may select their preferred method of presentation upon abstract submission. However, the final decision lies with the Scientific Committee. All abstracts will be reviewed and notified. Authors of the accepted abstracts will be notified of the mode of presentations as follow:
Oral Presentation:
- Slide Format: 16:9 powerpoint slide (ppt or pptx file)
- Slide Layout: Landscape (1920 x 1080px)
- The presentation must be presented in the English language.
- You are advised to adhere strictly to the time allocated to avoid upsetting the scientific programme.
- Please submit your presentation slides to conference secretariat email at mnhc2025secretariat@gmail.com.
- Presenters must present onsite during the conference.
- Please note in order to present your abstract, kindly register and fully paid before 25 June 2025.
Rapid Oral Presentation:
- Total 4 minutes will be allotted for Rapid Oral Presentation, inclusive of 3 minutes presentation in themed session and 1 minute question & answer.
- Presenters must submit presentation slides in MS PowerPoint format (.ppt or .pptx) with on-screen show 16:9 (landscape) through your XXX dashboard by XXX.
- Presenters are required to use the Abstract & Call For Symposium Slide Template, which are available on the website, under the Programme tab.
- Presenters must present onsite during the congress.
e-Poster Presentation:
- Posters are considered to be of equal importance as oral presentations, in the core scientific program. They will be displayed on the digital panels at the venue. No presentation required.
- Poster File Type: PDF
- Poster Layout: Portrait (vertical orientation)
- Page number: One (1) only
- Resolution: 2490px x 3508px (300dpi)
- Max File Size: 2MB
- Language: English
- Posters should be designed, such that titles, legends, graphs and illustrations can be easily read.
- The poster may include QR codes, tables, graphs, photographs, or illustrations.
- No hyperlinks, animated images, animations, and slide transitions.
- Please be advised there will NOT be any Q&A sessions for this category.
- During the congress, you will be able to view your E-poster using the E-poster panel. Please submit your E-poster to mnhc2025secretariat@gmail.com
- Please note in order to present your abstract, kindly register and fully paid before 25 June 2025.
Video Presentation:
- You are required to submit BOTH the text abstract that outline aspects of the operation you wish to demonstrate and the clinical scenario; as well as the video itself.
- Video duration: 8 minutes ONLY
- Q&A duration: 2 minutes ONLY
- Video must include a voice-over but should not feature any background music.
- Ensure that all video links are shared to the conference secretariat email at mnhc2025secretariat@gmail.com.
- Respect copyright: Only upload videos that you made or that you are authorised to use. This means do not upload videos that you did not make or use content in your videos to which someone else owns the copyright, such as snippets of copyrighted programs, or videos made by other users, without the necessary authorisation.
- Video submissions with a commercial nature will not be considered for presentation. If a submission is funded by commercial entities, it must be explicitly disclosed in a disclaimer at the beginning of the video.

Consent, Permission & Copyright :
Submitters must conform to the following:
- To accept responsibility for the accuracy of the submitted abstract and understand that amendment is not allowed once it is submitted, and information provided will be published exactly as submitted.
- All co-authors are aware of and give consent to the content of the abstract and data presented before it is submitted. The submitter accepts responsibility as the contact person for all correspondence about the abstract and to share information with all authors about its status.
- Submission of abstracts implies the author’s agreement to publish the abstract in all congress publications including the website, i.e., submitters are responsible to secure any copyright/permissions clearance required relating to any previous presentations, equipment, or other material for inclusion in the MNHC 2025 publications.
- Submitters are responsible to obtain permission from any relevant regulatory authority and obtain consent where appropriate.
- Submitters are responsible to ensure the work is original and that it does not infringe upon any copyright, proprietary or personal right of party.
- Submitters are responsible to identify and sort out any potential conflicts of interest e.g., financial interest in products or processes described in the presentation materials, stock ownership, and membership on an advisory board or board of directors or other substantive relationships.
- Submission of the online Registration and Abstract Submission form indicates the submitter has agreed to all the terms & conditions with regards to the congress registrations and abstract submissions as listed on the congress website (www.herniamalaysia.org).
